The Project
Ticket Genie is a popular booking platform for events, the most high profile of them being IPL & international cricket matches. Currently only browser based, they required an Android & iOS based app through which users could view & book events.
Challenges
- Uniformity of look across Android & iOS platforms.
- Server side APIs had been created by a third party. API Integration involved continuous coordination to understand how they had been implemented & the data required when different functions are called. Though coordination may sound less technically challenging, an earlier attempt of creating the app by another company had failed due to this.
- Time Frame: We had 6 weeks to design & implement the app.
Our Solution
We focussed on creating an excellent user interface that seamlessly integrated with the backend APIs. In addition to the functionality provided by the website, the app also integrated features relating to security & user identification. Inspite of a very short delivery timeline, the app has been successfully delivered to the satisfaction of the client.
